Muani  -father

Muani is as much of a tyrant as the man he coerced Raja into marrying when she was young. He is a rude man that everyone in the Hold worked studiously to avoid at all possible opportunity for as long as she can remember. A man that shared very little love with his family and received less in return for his minor efforts. He fishes at every opportunity and finds his confidence in the bottom of a bottle whenever he meets dry land.  

 

Gandhra -mother

Gandhra is the reason Rajani bothers to write home on rare occasion. Despite her shy and quiet ways and the way she let her husband terrorize the entire Hold at his whim, Rajani sees her mother for a good and honest woman. One that loved and spoiled all of her children on the rare occasion her husband let her keep them home.

 

Jukul   -brother, 2 turns younger than Raja

Jukul happens to be currently studying away from home in Ista Hold. Having taken to the Harper lessons his father shipped all three children off for at varying times, rather than allow them lessons at home where they might interrupt his latest scandal. Jukul is closer to Rajani in age and perhaps that is why he gets along best with her out of his three other siblings. Juk has little patience for his two younger brothers. Preferring to study with the Harpers rather than spend any time home unless commanded.

 

Kishor -brother, 4 turns younger than Raja

Yundha -brother, 6 turns younger than Raja

Kishor and Yunda are not very developed as NPC’s go. At current it is known that they prefer to cause trouble anywhere possible and often are malicious in their intent. They have taken to their father’s overbearing ways and happen to prefer his company to their mother’s. Both of the boys spend more time at home beneath their father’s guidance than Raja or Jukul ever did.

 

Merandi –Friend

Merandi makes her extra marks through doing massages when she isn’t working odd jobs for anyone. She became Rajani’s best friend when Raj first arrived at High Reaches Weyr nursing worse wounds than just her bruises. A Reachen native, Andi was quite familiar with the inner workings of the Weyr and guided Raja through learning the ropes. The two became estranged over a disagreement not long before Raja’s candidacy and took Turns to recover their friendship.
